Every year at about this time I start to crave sunny weather, but usually San Francisco isn't in the mood to cooperate. I think it's much easier to be excited about winter when Christmas is still in the air, all your sweaters are new, and boots still seem novel. Once we're into February, I can't wait for spring, even though there's still plenty of winter left.
Weekend trips are my faves. You get the adventure of a vacation without having to fork over big money, take time off work, or have to get on a long flight. San Francisco is perfectly situated for countless weekend adventures, and some of my favorite destinations are only a few hours drive away. Lake Tahoe, Mendocino, Santa Cruz, Napa, Sonoma, the Russian River and Lake Berryessa are just a few. San Francisco's dreary, cold, foggy summers make escaping for a few days and finding some sunshine that much more important.
I've never shared a review before, but after researching and wanting a pair of One Teaspoon shorts for ages, I finally got not one but two pairs! I bought one pair second hand on Tradesy (more on that experience below) and the other pair online from Free People. Both pairs are the Bandits style which feature a higher rise, light to medium distressing, concealed four button closure, half-rolled hem and signature five pocket design.
Whether you're looking to spend $20 or $600, there's a bucket bag out there for you! I'm currently obsessed, and I've rounded up some of my faves!
There's only a few short days left until Christmas, and then only a couple more until New Year's Eve! If you're still scrambling to come up with the perfect outfit, don't worry! I've solved that Outfit Crisis!
