If 2017 was the year of the tropical vacation, what does that mean for 2018? I'm wanderlusting hard right now, probably because it's seems like winter in The City won't end. But, I'm indecisive and need some help.
I love the tropics, warm weather and traveling in general. Bad news is I'm negative vacation until December 2018, which gives me just under a year to plan like crazy. My problem is simple: where should I go? I turn 30 in December, and want to make it a big one. Two weeks or more, preferably several destinations in the same region.
Tropics or Europe? That's as far as I've gotten. I've never been to Paris (even though it's on pretty much every girl's bucket list), but I'm not sure about going in December. Portugal and Spain both look amazing. Marrakech and northern Africa. Japan. Hawaii is always on the list. Mexico City and Tulum. Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Scandinavia (but again, probably not in December).
So, any thoughts? Obviously this is not an exhaustive list of places I'd like to visit, but more of a narrowed down list I'm considering for this year. Either way, there will probably be a week or two (sorry bank account!) somewhere in 2018, but it would be an amazing add on to a couple of weeks in Japan. Ugh. Making decisions is so damn hard!
