Hi There.

Limitless San Francisco is more than a lifestyle blog--it's a love letter to The City.

Colorful Doorways

Colorful Doorways

I'm always looking for the inspiration that exists in the world around me. Normally I'm pretty good about noticing and enjoying it, but something about the grey, cold days in January make it really difficult for me. Lately, I've been drawn to doors and doorways.

Their transient nature and existence between two places feels fitting. They're colorful and detailed and refreshing. Each is different. They're scattered through every neighborhood. They welcome people home. They're a public extension of their occupant's private spaces. They inject personality into the neighborhood, and right now they're my favorite.

Looking for some good doors? Try The Mission, the side streets around Japantown and the Western Addition or Lower Haight.
