This weekend we had our first legs-out-no-jacket-sandal-kinda weekend. It was super sunny, not too windy, and over 70 degrees. Spring has finally made its long awaited debut.
We've had more than a few friends recently decide to relocate to the East Bay, and we ventured over to Walnut Creek on Saturday for a beer tasting event. The BART ride was long, but the weather was full-on summer and totally worth it. Next on our list is Rare Barrel (they specialize in sour beer) in Berkeley. There are also a few architectural salvage stores calling my name!
Sunday we stayed close to home, but managed to pack a lot in, and catch plenty more sunshine. It was an awesome day, full of all of my favorite things, and some of my fave places. We hit up Fort Mason for the Farmer's Market and checked out California Craft which was in full-swing in one of the back buildings. There were banh mis at Soap Box Cafe (the pork belly is the best here!), coffee and plants at Flora Grubb Gardens, and some time spent at home planting and getting the patio/deck ready for the season to come!
This week is super busy with work and life in general, and this coming weekend we're heading back up to wine country for a wedding. In the meantime, I wanted to share some recent faves. Hope your week speeds by!
