Apartment Living : Christmas 2017
Living in a flat in SF means that space is at a premium. But, Christmas is Christmas and it just wouldn't be the same for me without a tree, some cozy white lights, plenty of candles and Christmas music playing on repeat.
I'm lucky enough to have a large-by-SF-standards living room, and that's where most of my Christmas energy goes. I love getting a big tree--even though my boyfriend complains about the projector view being slightly blocked. Every year I get ridiculously excited to shop for a tree, and each year the house looks a little bit different. This year we hung fresh garland over the windows, maybe over did it on the lights, and got an even more modern looking Silver Tipped Fir than last year. I'm searching for a San Francisco ornament, but I've never found one I like. Most of the ornaments are from a local Bay Area brand called Roost, with some vintage baubles mixed in. I love a modern vibe with a vintage twist, and I love how this year's tree turned out.
