I don't know what it is lately, maybe it's just all the nice weather we've been having, but I feel an extra dose of inspiration just walking around! Everything is blooming, the houses seem extra colorful, and the sunshine is providing me with plenty of feel good endorphins. I'm all about vibrant, happy, bright hues lately, and San Francisco seems to be on the same page!
The 24th Street corridor is full of colorful inspiration, great restaurants and quirky shops--which I've previously written about here. Telegraph Hill, one of my favorite retreats from the hectic nature of city living, has exploded with blooms. Even Washington Square Park and Nob Hill are verdant and lush.
I'm pretty much obsessed with finding little semi-secret pathways in The City. I'm always wandering down random alleys, hiking up steep stairs and peeking over fences. The garden oases that people have carved out of the concrete and order delight me. I'm in awe that so much beauty can be found right here in The City, and that it is often wild and unexpected.
Dear San Francisco, I love you.
