Hi There.

Limitless San Francisco is more than a lifestyle blog--it's a love letter to The City.

Outfit Crisis : What to Wear to a Holiday Party

Outfit Crisis : What to Wear to a Holiday Party

There's only a few short days left until Christmas, and then only a couple more until New Year's Eve! If you're still scrambling to come up with the perfect outfit, don't worry! I've solved that Outfit Crisis! I like to keep is simple and flexible. I tend to be freezing everywhere, so I've included a giant, comfy sweater.

I'm not much of a red person, so I shy away for a typical holiday pallet, but I do gravitate towards winter's classic jewel tones, sequins, luxe textures and deep shades. I'm obsessed with the lady length classic skirts PartySkirts is famous for, and love Lauren's and Mariel's personal styles! They totally get my sense of classic with a touch of whimsical or modern.

I love the idea of pairing the skirt with a more sultry black lace or velvet top that shows some skin, and having the option to throw a giant sweater on top for good measure. If you're heading to a work event, you can keep the sweater on if you feel like you want a little more of a conservative look, and shed it once the drinks are flowing.

The black dress looks pretty conservative from the front, but actually has a swooping low back. It's from H&M and is under $50! It also comes in red. I love a good sparkly shoe for the holidays, or really for any day, and I really like this Sole Society pair since the heel isn't too high. You could easily walk/stand around in them, but you'd prob need an extra pair of flats or an Uber/Lyft to get home.

Cheers!
